Mǎndù Learn (the "Service") is operated by Vantage Learn, a Vantage Learn company ("Vantage Learn", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you ("you", "user") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Mǎndù Learn provides interactive Mandarin Chinese learning content, including lessons, flashcards, stories, an AI tutor, and related study tools, delivered over the web.
You must be of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (or have a parent's consent). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
Vantage Learn retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all software, content, branding, and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial study, within the plan you have purchased.
You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g. notes, mined vocabulary, tutor messages). You grant Vantage Learn a limited, worldwide license to host, store, and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service.
The Service includes AI-powered features (such as the tutor, translations, and generated explanations). AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific situation. You are responsible for your prompts, for verifying outputs before relying on them, and for ensuring you have the rights to any content you submit. AI outputs are for educational use only and are not a substitute for professional advice. You must not use the AI features to generate illegal content, hateful content, deepfakes, malware, or to attempt to jailbreak the system. We may filter, restrict, or remove outputs, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly violate these rules.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Pricing, billing cycles, taxes, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, available at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until canceled. You can cancel at any time via your account billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, create security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our policies. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may delete your account data after a reasonable period.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vantage Learn's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence).
You agree to indemnify and hold Vantage Learn harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Vantage Learn is established, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
